Chandigarh, May 3 – World Press Freedom Day was celebrated today by the Department of Communication and Media Technology, Haryana JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad.
Chairman of the department Dr. Pawan Singh and faculty members and staff and media students pledged to uphold the principles of truth, impartiality and public service in journalism to ensure that public trust in journalism is never compromised.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of the University Professor SK Tomar congratulated the department.On this occasion, the chairman said that journalism is a responsible and challenging profession. As media teachers, we get certain privileges and it is our responsibility to use these privileges for the welfare of the society.
