Panipat, 21 January 2025- Amarjeet of Model Town, Panipat, sold his five acres of land and his mansion and gave crores of rupees to his daughter, sister and wife. When Amarjeet had nothing left to give, the family members left him in an old age home and went away from Panipat. When he fell ill in the old age home, the representatives of the ashram left him in ‘Jan Seva Dal’s Apna Aashiyana.’
He died four years later on January 15. His body is waiting for cremation in the mortuary of the District Civil Hospital for three days. His daughter, wife and sisters were informed about his death, but they refused to come for the funeral. Now on Tuesday, the members of Jan Seva Dal will cremate his body in Shivpuri on Asandh Road.
The context
According to the information, 84-year-old Amarjeet had five acres of land in Azizullapur village and his mansion in Model Town. The family consists of his wife, one daughter and two sisters. Amarjeet sold his land and educated his daughter and made her self-reliant. He also married her in a good family.
After this, his wife went to Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh with her daughter and started living with her. One of his sisters went to America and the other to Delhi and left Amarjeet in an old age home in Panipat.
When Amarjeet fell ill in the ashram in 2020, the representatives of the ashram also left him in Jan Seva Dal’s Apna Aashiyana. The members of Jan Seva Dal got him treated and kept him with them. Five days ago, Amarjeet’s health suddenly deteriorated. Jan Seva Dal General Secretary Chaman Gulati admitted him to the District Civil Hospital, where he died during treatment.
The wife said, we will not come to the funeral, you send us his death certificate
Jan Seva Dal General Secretary Chaman Gulati said that a person sacrificed his entire life for the family. He gave them crores of rupees by selling land. Now the family members are refusing to come to his funeral.
He called his daughter, wife and sisters and informed them about Amarjeet’s death. They said that they cannot come to the funeral. Send them Amarjeet’s death certificate.
