May 4, 2024, Fazilka – District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal IAS said that the Fazilka, has created several mobile apps for the convenience of voters. He said that one such mobile app is Voter Help Line, which can be downloaded from Play Store. Through this app, the voter can get all the information about his vote, polling booth etc.
The Deputy Commissioner said that to cast their vote through postal ballot, the electoral staff need to fill up their form containing part of the voter list and the serial number of the vote in their constituency. It is important for common voters to see how many votes they have cast at the booth and how many numbers are registered in the voter list. To check this, download the Voter Helpline mobile app in your mobile phone or visit the Election Commission’s link https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ and enter your voter ID card number and the name of your state. Can find out even after filling the numbers and their serial numbers in the vote list.
Apart from this, you can also know the details entered in your voter list by sending an SMS to the Election Commissioner. So type ECI (space) your Voter ID and SMS it to 1950. Election Commission will send you your name, voter list part number (if your booth number) and voter list of your booth. Registered vote will be sent on SMS.
