9  May’2024 , Chandigarh – Water supply will be slow in Chandigarh this evening. There will be a problem in the supply from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, because today the Punjab Electricity Department has to repair the power line from Kharar to Morinda. The work of changing the conductor has to be done in this. Due to this, water supply will be affected due to lack of electricity. Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has issued an advisory to the people that water should be used in this manner.

Pumping system will remain closed.  According to the information received from the department, this work of repairing the power line will be done from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm today. Due to this, the pressure of water coming from Kajauli will be slow. Let us tell you that to maintain the pressure in the water supply that comes from Kajauli to Sector 39 Water Works, pumping systems have been installed at intervals. But due to lack of electricity these pumping systems will remain closed. Due to which there will be difficulty in delivering water to Chandigarh.
