Three Arrested in Fatehgarh Sahib Motorcycle Theft Case

Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, March 15 — Sri Fatehgarh Sahib police arrested three members of a motorcycle theft gang, including two college students, officials said.

The gang targeted motorcycles parked near Gurdwara Sahib and sold them, according to reports.

Police recovered three stolen bikes and revealed that one of the accused is already serving a jail sentence for theft.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Prithvi Raj Singh said the two students stole the bikes, while their accomplice, a Mandi Gobindgarh resident, purchased them at low prices and resold them for profit. The students are from Malerkotla.

The accused have been remanded for three days. “Further investigations may lead to more revelations,” police said.
