Amritsar, 2 January 2025: Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty and his family offered prayers at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib on New Year’s Day, seeking blessings for a prosperous year ahead. Shetty, maintaining his tradition, visited the Golden Temple with his family to pray for the well-being of all.
This New Year, over 2 lakh devotees visited the shrine within two hours, alongside other prominent figures, who also sought the Guru’s blessings.
Shetty and his family joined the crowd, expressing their gratitude for the Guru’s blessings.
Speaking to the press after the visit, Shetty described how visiting the Golden Temple brings him inner peace. “It feels wonderful to offer my prayers at this sacred place for the New Year,” he shared.
He also expressed his openness to working in the Punjabi film industry, saying he would certainly consider taking part in any upcoming Punjabi film or music video.
