Mumbai, 11 January 2025– ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ fame Gurucharan Singh aka Sodhi is admitted in the hospital. He is in debt. His close friend Bhakti Soni has revealed that Gurucharan has to repay a loan of Rs 1.5 crore. He also claimed that even Gurucharan’s family is not helping him in this difficult time. Neither is any of his friends and close ones helping him. He claimed that Gurucharan’s father has property worth Rs 55 crore, yet he is not doing anything.
Bhakti Soni said in an interview to ETimes, “Gurucharan Singh has a debt of about Rs 1.2 crore. His father has property worth Rs 55 crore. Unfortunately, the tenants are not vacating the property. There is a dispute going on over this. If the matter is resolved and the property is sold, he will be able to repay his loan.”
Gurucharan Singh’s aka Sodhi savings are also exhausted
Bhakti Soni claimed, “Gurucharan has exhausted all his savings. When he needs support the most, no one including his family members is helping him. Only friends like me and a friend in Delhi are supporting him financially.”
Let us tell you, in July 2024, Gurcharan Singh also talked about facing financial crisis. He suddenly disappeared for several days. When he was found later, he told Bombay Times that he had left Mumbai during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and decided to start his own business. However, due to many reasons it did not work out. Due to this he had to face financial crisis.
