25 January 2025, Mumbai – A new twist is emerging in the case of the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Discussions have started again regarding the statements of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Mumbai Police recorded Saif Ali Khan’s statement on Thursday. There is a difference between this and his wife’s statement. At the same time, a new twist has emerged in the action taken against the accused.

Saif Ali Khan gave this statement

Saif Ali Khan told in his statement about the attack that he was on the 11th floor. On the night of 15-16 January, the voice of the nanny Eliyama Philip came, after hearing which he and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan went to Jahangir’s room, while Kareena said that only Saif had gone to Jahangir’s room.

Forensic investigation of the accused will be done

The police custody of Shariful Islam Shahzad, the accused in the Saif Ali Khan case, has been extended till January 29. Forensic investigation of the accused who attacked Saif will also be done. A Mumbai court asked the police for a forensic test to identify the accused.

The accused’s father said this

At the same time, the accused’s father has said that his son has been framed. He will contact the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry and the Indian High Commission for help. He had said that the person seen in the CCTV footage is not his son. The father had alleged that his son was being  framed in the case.

Custody extended till January 29

Mumbai Police told a court on Friday that it has to identify the face of the man arrested for attacking Saif Ali Khan with a knife last week, to find out if it is the same person who was seen in the CCTV footage of the actor’s building in Bandra. The police produced the accused person Shariful Islam Shahzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir (30) in the magistrate court. Shahzad’s police custody has been extended till January 29.
