Actor Ranbir Kapoor’s recent statement that a person should let rid of their uniqueness after marriage offended some users on social media.
Speaking with Nikhil Kamath on the podcast People by WTF, Ranbir mentioned that his wife, actress Alia Bhatt, has also followed suit.
Ranbir stated, “You have to let go of your personality, especially in a marriage. She is also relinquishing her individuality. In an effort to make things bearable for one another, we’re adjusting to one another. That’s what every marriage does. You have to give it up, change, and relinquish some aspects of it. Due to the fact that two people cannot possibly like one other exactly as they are.
Someone posted on X, the former Twitter platform, saying, “This sounds so awful. It is impossible to let go of one’s personality. Someone who prevents you from being who you are cannot be your partner. Acceptance and adjustment go hand in hand.”
“I haven’t wanted to learn anything about this pair at all. The child’s father wants you to shed your individuality. “GIRL, LEAVE THERE,” someone tweeted.
