Chandigarh/Patiala, 1 January 2025: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the exam schedule for practicals in vocational and NSQF (National Skills Qualifications Framework) subjects for classes 10 and 12. These exams will be held from January 27 to February 4, 2025. The schedule has been sent to schools for further dissemination.
School principals have been directed to ensure that students are informed of the dates, which are also available on the PSEB’s official website, www.pseb.ac.in. Additional queries can be directed to PSEB at srsecconduct.pseb@punjab.gov.in.
Around seven lakh students from across Punjab are set to participate in these exams. To maintain a smooth exam process, PSEB will distribute question papers to schools via banks and enforce stringent security measures at exam centers.
Vocational and NSQF subjects focus on skill-oriented education designed to equip students with industry-specific skills:
Vocational Subjects: These are practical courses aimed at preparing students for careers in fields such as agriculture, healthcare, hospitality, IT, and mechanical engineering, offering hands-on experience and real-world knowledge.
NSQF Subjects: The National Skills Qualifications Framework categorizes various qualifications based on levels 1-10, linking skills training directly to industry standards and ensuring students gain the competencies required for employment.
