Congress slams PM for launching projects just before elections
“First of all, the cluster resettlement of ‘jhuggi-jhopdi’ is a scheme that started when we were in power. These buildings should have been built much earlier—I don’t know why the Government of India delayed it. PM inaugurating the ‘jhuggi-jhopdi’ clusters that Congress initiated, is a great credit to the Congress government. Secondly, laying the foundation stone of a college just before elections—why not earlier,” says Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit.
