He reached his half-century in just 37 balls during this period. Conway also scored 1000 runs in the IPL in addition to this. In the shortest innings, he became the third batsman to reach 1000 runs. In this sense, he outperformed Matthew Hayden and Sai Sudarshan. Conway scored 1000 runs in 24 IPL innings, compared to 25 innings for Sudarshan and Hayden.
