Moga, 29 December 2024: A motorcyclist died, and another sustained injuries after a cement tipper collided with their motorcycle near the Baghapurana bus stand in Punjab. The accident occurred as the tipper and the motorcycle were traveling from Kotpura Road toward Moga Road.
Witnesses said one of the riders fell under the tipper’s rear tire, leading to his death on the spot. The injured individual was taken to a nearby hospital.
Police have taken the tipper driver into custody and seized the vehicle. Relatives of the deceased staged a protest at the main intersection, disrupting traffic and causing significant inconvenience to travelers.
