Sarabjot Singh, 22, made history at the Paris Olympic Games with Manu Bhaker, but his mother was busy and urged him to call later. Meanwhile, everyone of India was waiting to hear from him. As the first Indian shooters to win an Olympic medal in a team event, Sarabjot and Manu secured the country’s second medal in Paris on Tuesday.
Sarabjot talked with IANS after the win and shared the discussion he had with his mother. Sarabjot told IANS, “I spoke to my mother, and she said, ‘Mai busy hun, baad me baat karna mere se (Talk to me later I am busy)’.”
