In Himachal Pradesh, people will not be deprived of health services on June 1, i.e. the day of voting. Health institutions will remain open in the state on this day. This is happening for the first time that instructions have been issued to keep health institutions open on the day of voting. With this decision, there will be no need to wander for treatment in case of emergency.

After the issuance of the notification, staff are being deployed to keep all the health institutions open on the day of voting and doctors are also being put on duty. Chief Medical Officer of Solan, Dr. Rajan Uppal said that health institutions will remain open on the day of voting. Health institutions will also remain open until voting takes place. This is being done on the instructions of the Election Commission. The personnel on duty will vote through ballot paper.
