1 August, Ambala: Dr. Kamal Gupta, the minister of Haryana’s health and civil aviation, visited the domestic airport, known as the Civil Enclave, today and gave the relevant officials instructions to speed up the project.
According to the minister, flights from the airport were scheduled to begin this month. The flight to Ayodhya will be the first one.
Gupta asked the PWD (B&R) and other relevant agencies on the project’s status during the visit.
Anil Vij, a former home minister for Haryana and MLA for Ambala cantonment who had assisted in obtaining land for the project from the Ministry of Defence, followed Gupta.
“Officers are expected to work more synchronized and continuously throughout the day. In order to finish the remaining tasks on the power, water supply, roads, and sewerage systems within ten days, instructions have been given to bring in more labor. On August 10, I’ll be back at the location,” Gupta explained.
“There can be a delay of five-seven days, but the operations will begin in August,” He concluded.
“The Civil Enclave is a significant project for Ambala Cantonment,” stated Vij. Because they generate new employment possibilities, airports are essential to the growth of all towns.
