GT vs RR Highlights: The Gujarat Titans won by a total of 58 runs over the Rajasthan Royals. The squad led by Shubman Gill topped the points table with eight points after winning four of their five games. Rajasthan must simultaneously swallow its pride for the third time during this session. At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, the Gujarat Titans amassed 217 runs in 20 overs at a cost of six wickets. The Rajasthani team was dismissed for 159 runs in 19.2 overs as a response. Gujarati star Krishna claimed three wickets. Sai Kishore and Rashid Khan each took two wickets at the same time. In addition, Kulwant Khejrolia, Arshad Khan, and Muhammad Siraj each had one victory.
The bowlers from Gujarat outscored the Rajasthani batters
The performance of the Rajasthan batsmen in chasing the 218-run target was poor. The opening blow in the second over came from Arshad Khan. Jaiswal was only able to score six runs. The path to the pavilion was then shown to Nitish Rana by Muhammad Siraj. All he could do was score one run. Rian Parag and Sanju Samson thereafter took the initiative. The two scored a total of 48 runs in partnership. Ryan scored 26 runs during this period, including three sixes and one four. Butler caught him at Khejrolia’s capture.
Shimran Hetmyer, who batted at number six, put on a strong 52-run, 32-ball innings. He was unable to guide his squad to victory, though. In 29 balls, he reached his half-century. The well-known Krishna made him a victim. Jofra Archer scored four runs, Mahish Tikshana scored five, Tushar Deshpande scored three, Dhruv Jurel scored five, Shubham Dubey scored one, and Sanju Samson scored forty-one runs against Gujarat. Meanwhile, Sandeep Sharma scored six runs to stay undefeated.
Sai Sudarshan set the stage for triumph
The Gujarat Titans set a target of 218 runs ahead of Rajasthan thanks to Sai Sudarshan’s explosive 82-run performance. The batsman, who is 23 years old, reached his fourth half-century in five innings. After just two runs were scored at the start of this game, captain Shubman Gill was removed. Jos Buttler joined Sudarshan after this. Between them, they scored 80 runs in 47 balls through partnership. Lbw, Mahesh Tikshana removes Buttler. With five fives, he scored 36 runs before being removed.
Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Sudarshan contributed 62 runs. Teekshana caught Shahrukh at the hands of Samson in the sixteenth over. After playing 36 runs in an innings, he was also removed. Rashid Khan and Sherfan Rutherford each scored 12 runs for Gujarat. Meanwhile, Arshad Khan (0) and Rahul Tewatia (12) were still undefeated. Mahish Tikshana and Tushar Deshpande each claimed two wickets for Rajasthan. Sandeep Sharma and Jofra Archer each took one wicket at the same time.
