What has happened so far in the firing between the former MLA and Sonu-Monu gang in Mokama
22 January
Firing took place between former Mokama MLA Anant Kumar Singh and the miscreant Sonu-Monu gang in Nauranga-Jalalpur village on Wednesday. According to the information given by the villagers, 50-60 rounds were fired between the two.
23 January
On Thursday, 3 FIRs were registered in the Panchmahal police station of Mokama block in this entire case. An FIR was also lodged against former MLA Anant Singh and his supporters for obstructing the police work.
January 24
News of firing has come to light once again on Friday morning in Nauranga-Jalalpur village of Panchmahal police station of Mokama block. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and recovered the empty bullet shell.
Police has arrested Sonu of Sonu-Monu gang in this case on Friday morning. Anant Singh’s supporter Roshan has also been arrested. Now preparations are on to take action against Anant Singh in this case.
Anant Singh’s allegation
Anant Singh said in the firing case that he was listening to the complaints of the public in the morning. During this time some people came to him crying.
He told that Sonu-Monu beat him up and threw him out of the house and locked it. They ask for money from poor people.
After talking to the DSP on phone about this, he was sent to Panchmahal police station, but no hearing took place there. After this incident, when some people were sent to Sonu-Monu’s house to convince them, they fired bullets.
Monu’s allegation
Monu said that he had asked the old clerk Mukesh to settle the accounts of the brick kiln and close the accounts, but he went to Anant Singh. After this, Anant Singh did not inquire about the matter and came to my house. As soon as he got down from the car, he started firing. During this time, there were women and children in the house. The bullet passed by the child.
