Hamirpur, 9 January 2025- The owner of a small scale industry making concrete bricks in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh has received an electricity bill of more than two billion rupees. The owner of the industry was shocked on seeing the bill. He immediately went to the electricity board office and complained.
Lalit Dhiman, the owner of a small scale industry making concrete bricks in Bhoranj of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh has received an electricity bill of more than two billion rupees. The businessman was shocked on seeing the electricity bill of Rs 2,10,42,08,405.
Lalit and his son Ashish Dhiman said that when they received the electricity bill, they were stunned. The electricity board employee handed him a bill of billions of rupees. He later went to the electricity board office and complained about it.
After complaining, he has now received a bill of Rs 4,047. Regarding this, SDO Anurag Chandel of Electricity Board Bhoranj said that such a high bill has come due to technical reasons. The complaint was received and the bill has been corrected. Now the consumer has been given a bill of Rs 4,047.
