Chandigarh, December 31, 2024: The Chief Election Officer of Punjab has revealed plans for the “Punjab Election Quiz-2025,” a state-level competition that will coincide with National Voters Day on January 25, 2025.
The quiz aims to raise awareness among the youth about the election process, voter registration, and related activities, encouraging active participation from current and future voters.
Punjab Chief Electoral Officer Sibin C highlighted the event’s role in spreading knowledge about elections, promoting responsible voting, and engaging communities, including the media and educational institutions. He emphasized the goal of cultivating a culture of voting awareness in the state.
The quiz will take place in two stages: an online quiz to determine district-level winners, followed by an offline final competition in Ludhiana on January 24, 2025, where 23 district champions will compete for top honors ahead of National Voters Day celebrations on January 25.
Exciting prizes, such as laptops, tablets, and smartwatches for state-level winners, along with smartphones for district-level winners, will encourage participation and reward contestants for their knowledge and enthusiasm.
