Dr. Duggal urges people to exercise right to vote in maximum numbers

FAZILKA, MAY 21 2024 : To ensure strict vigil ahead of June 1 Lok Sabha Polls, the Fazilka Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal  has conducted surprise inspections of joint Nakas by BSF &. Punjab Police near the International border.
The inspection was carried out on Monday night, and during the special checking the DC Fazilka was accompanied by the SSP, Fazilka Dr. Pragya Jain.

The aim of this special drill was to ensure foolproof security arrangements ahead of Lok Sabha Polling in the border district on June 1. Punjab will go to polls in the last phase of ongoing Polls on June 1. The results would be announced on June 4.

Our Jawans need our support and motivation as they work day and night to keep us safe, Dr. Duggal said here while lauding the BSF and Punjab Police for the immense role in nation building.

The DC also urged all the citizens to exercise their right to vote in maximum numbers so as to contribute towards a stronger democracy. ” A Vote is our cherished right guaranteed through our Constitution and every citizen must exercise their right freely and fairly, the DC said here.

Fazilka has always been amongst the leading districts in high voting percentage and we will keep the trend upwards, Dr. Duggal said urging all citizens to mark their presence in the festival of democracy by casting their precious vote.

Assuring all citizens of stringent police measures to ward off any instance of cross border activity, the SSP Dr. Pragya Jain said the district administration is all geared up to ensure peaceful and memorable experience for every voter
