May 18, 2024, Derabassi– A Static Surveillance Team deployed in Dera Bassi constituency today recovered a cash of Rs 24,16,900 from a car that was intercepted on Jharmari Barrier located on the Punjab-Haryana border. Disclosing this here today Assistant Returning Officer cum SDM Dera Bassi Himanshu Gupta said that a team led by Sector Officer Raju Garg and Lalru Police when stopped a car number HR16AA2659 and searched by the CAPF Personnel and Lalru police, a Cash worth Rs 24,16,900 was recovered. The driver Vikas Bura, a resident of Bhiwani could not produce any legitimate documents when asked from him. The total amount, when counted in the presence of Income Tax Officer Ravinder Kumar was found Rs 24,16,900. He said that cash recovered by the team has been deposited with the Lalru police station.
