Chandigarh, 24 December 2024: Jagjit Singh Dallewal, a prominent farmer leader, continues his hunger strike at the Khanauri border between Punjab and Haryana, now in its 29th day.

His condition has become critical, with doctors warning that his life is at risk. Dr. Swaiman, who is closely monitoring Dallewal, stated that his health is extremely serious, and anything could happen to him at any moment.

In spite of his deteriorating health, Dallewal remained resolute.

Addressing the farmers at the protest site, he declared, “We will either win this fight or we will die. There is no turning back now.” He urged farmers to join the movement, stressing that their goal is to secure victory for the cause. ”

This fight must be fought with all our strength,” he added, asserting that the government would not be able to remove them from their position.

Though his words were full of determination, medical experts have expressed deep concern, warning that the prolonged fast has taken a severe toll on his health. The situation at the Khanauri border continues to escalate as the protest, now focused on multiple demands, remains at a critical juncture.
