Chennai, March 30 — A Chennai-bound flight from Jaipur made an emergency landing on Sunday morning after a tyre burst was detected before its scheduled arrival, airport officials said.
The pilot identified the issue mid-flight and alerted authorities, who facilitated the emergency landing. All passengers and crew safely deplaned.
A visual inspection revealed that wheel no. 2 was damaged, with tyre pieces coming off the left interior, officials confirmed.
