Chandigarh, April 22: Earth Day was marked with great enthusiasm at Saarthak GIMSS School, Sector 12, as part of the school’s Action Plan to promote environmental conservation.
The event aimed to raise awareness among students about sustainable living practices.
Aparna Bhardwaj, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary of DLSA, graced the occasion as the chief guest, where she was warmly welcomed by Principal Jitender Sharma.
A painting competition, centered around this year’s Earth Day theme, gave students an opportunity to showcase their creativity and ideas on key environmental issues, including pollution, tree plantation, and water conservation.
