Ayodhya witnesses more than six lakh devotees in two days

Ayodhya, 28 January 2025- A crowd of devotees has gathered in Ramnagari Ayodhya on Tuesday as well. As it is Tuesday, there is a two kilometer long queue at Hanumangarhi. A similar scene is seen at Ram Janmabhoomi. A huge crowd of devotees has gathered to have darshan of Ramlala. On Monday, 3.55 lakh devotees attended Ramlala’s court.

More than six lakh devotees have reached Ramlala’s court within two days. The main festival of Mauni Amavasya is on 29 January. Amavasya is starting from late evening today, but this bath on Udaya Tithi will continue throughout the day from dawn on 29th. There is a crowd of devotees for this. Meanwhile, since this morning, more than 10 lakh devotees are reaching Hanumangarhi for darshan after taking bath in Saryu and anointing Nageshwarnath Mahadev.

Even today, there is a one to two kilometer long queue of devotees for darshan at Ramlala and Hanumangarhi. For crowd control on Ramjanmabhoomi path, after darshan, devotees are being taken out from gate number three. As it is 100 meters away from the Ram Janmabhoomi path, crowd control is becoming easier.

Top officials have taken charge of security. Paramilitary forces have been deployed. Magistrates have also been deployed at various places. IG Praveen Kumar and Ram Janmabhoomi’s SP Security Balramchari Dubey are themselves engaged in making arrangements. Ram Mandir Trust is also keeping an eye.

Traffic stopped by putting a barrier near Saryu bridge

In view of the crowd of devotees returning from Prayagraj Mahakumbh in Ayodhya, the route of four-wheelers has been diverted from Katra Shivdayalganj Tiraha towards Lolpur four-lane highway. Three-wheelers have also been stopped by putting a barrier near the old Saryu bridge. People going towards Ayodhya are being allowed to walk on Saryu. To keep the traffic system in order, policemen have been deployed on the spot under the leadership of Additional SP Radheshyam Rai.
