Chandigarh, 22 December 2024: Tensions surfaced between AP Dhillon and Diljit Dosanjh after Dhillon accused the “Lover” singer of blocking him on Instagram. Though Diljit dismissed the claim, Dhillon presented a screen recording as evidence, sparking conversations among fans.
Dhillon posted the clip on his Instagram, showing his attempt to access Diljit’s profile, only to be met with the “blocked” status. Later, however, the account appeared accessible again. Alongside the recording, Dhillon wrote, “I wasn’t planning on saying sh*t knowing everyone will hate on me anyway, but at least we know what’s real and what’s not.”
The situation unraveled after Diljit extended a public shoutout during his Indore concert to Dhillon and Karan Aujla, wishing them success on their tours. “Mere aur do bhaiyon ne tour shuru kiya hai Karan Aujla aur AP Dhillon ne, unke liye bhi best of luck (Two of my brothers, Karan Aujla and AP Dhillon, have started their tours; best of luck to them, too),” said Diljit on stage.
Dhillon, during his concert in Chandigarh, responded indirectly, saying, “First unblock me on Instagram and then talk to me, brother. I don’t want to talk about what marketing is happening, but first unblock me. I’ve been working for three years—have you ever seen me in any controversy?”
In response, Diljit shared a screenshot showing Dhillon’s profile accessible from his account, writing, “I never blocked you… I might have issues with the government, but not with artists.” Dhillon’s subsequent post claiming proof of the block has yet to be addressed by Diljit.
The exchange has left fans speculating about the relationship between the two stars as neither has made further comments to clarify the matter.
