by TheReportingTimes

Chandigarh/Amritsar, March 13: The Amritsar district administration on Wednesday demolished the house of alleged drug smuggler Ajay Kumar Billi as part of Punjab’s ongoing war on drugs under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s leadership.

Overseeing the demolition, Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said strict action would continue against those involved in drug trafficking. “Ajay Kumar has five cases registered against him, including under the NDPS Act. This is a warning—criminals must either reform or leave Punjab,” he stated.

The demolition was carried out using a JCB machine in the presence of senior officials, including DCP Alam Vijay Singh and ADCP Vishaljit Singh.

Bhullar stressed the administration’s commitment to protecting Punjab’s youth. “Drug traffickers will not be allowed to operate freely. We will take every necessary step to safeguard future generations,” he mentioned.

The action underscores the Punjab government’s determination to dismantle drug networks and ensure public safety.
