CHANDIGARH – The Punjab government will auction land and properties valued at ₹2,000 crore across 13 towns, including Mohali, New Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, and Patiala. The e-auction, conducted by the Punjab Urban Development Authority (PUDA) and other state development bodies, will begin on March 12 and conclude on March 22.

Residential, commercial, and institutional sites will be available, along with plots for group housing, schools, and commercial establishments such as SCOs, SCFs, and booths. According to officials from the Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), successful bidders will secure allotment by paying 10% of the final bid price, with possession granted after depositing 25% of the amount.

This follows two previous auctions held in September and October 2024, where properties worth over ₹2,000 crore were sold.
