Ludhiana, December 21, 2024: Counting of votes for the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (MC) elections is underway, with ward-wise results trickling in as the process progresses. The district administration had set up 1,227 polling stations for the elections, where voting concluded at 4 pm. The counting is being conducted on-site at the polling stations.
As of 7 pm, results revealed victories across political parties, showcasing a competitive race. Seven candidates each from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Congress, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have secured wins, alongside one candidate from the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). Counting of votes for other wards remains in progress.
