7 Killed in MP Bolero Crash

Simri, April 22 — Seven people were killed in a road accident near Simri village on Banwar Road in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh district, police said Monday.

The incident occurred in the Nohta police station area when a Bolero vehicle overturned, trapping the passengers beneath it.

According to officials, all four wheels of the vehicle were up when police arrived, indicating a severe crash that left no time for the victims to escape.

Locals witnessed the accident and immediately alerted the authorities. Police and administrative officials, including SDM Saurabh Gandharva, Tehsildar, Nowhatta Police Station In-charge, and Vanwar Chowki In-charge Manish Yadav, rushed to the scene with rescue teams.

The injured were quickly transported to Damoh District Hospital for treatment, and rescue operations are ongoing.
