According to the Israeli military, on Saturday a drone entered Israel from Lebanon and crashed into the town of Caesarea. According to the local media, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home was the target of the drone.

It was verified by the military that there were no casualties when the drone “hit a structure in the Caesarea area”.
Later, a spokesperson for Israeli prime minister confirmed that the drone had been launched in the direction toward his Caesarea house. It further stated that there were no casualties, and that Netanyahu was not around.
The event resulted in the sounding of warning sirens near Glilot, north of Tel Aviv, and the interception of two further drones, according to the Israel Defense Force. However, the military later ruled out a drone attack in that region.
Hamas will keep fighting
The attack comes just days after Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind behind Hamas’ October 7, 2023, assault on Israel that triggered the Gaza war, was killed in a gunfight with Israeli forces on Wednesday following a year-long manhunt. His death was officially announced on Thursday.
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, declared on Saturday that Hamas will keep fighting and that Sinwar’s passing will not stop the “Axis of Resistance”.
The “Axis of Resistance,” built over years with Iranian support, includes Hamas, Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Yemen’s Houthi movement, and various Shi’ite groups in Iraq and Syria, all opposing Israel and U.S. influence in the Middle East.
