On October 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to witness the sworn-in ceremony of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini for a second term. The party released a statement on Saturday, October 12, announcing that the oath-taking ceremony will take place at the Dusshera field in Panchkula Sector 5 at 10 am. Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and chief ministers of some BJP-ruled states are reportedly planning to attend Nayab Singh Saini’s inauguration.

Prior to this, BJP leader Sanjay Bhatia had stated that there would be plenty of preparations for the swearing-in ceremony and that it will be a grand occasion. “We have come to know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the ceremony. Chief Ministers of nearby states and some Union ministers will also attend it,” he said.
“We have the prime minister’s approval, and the chief minister and his council of ministers will take their oath of office in Panchkula on October 17,” stated Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
The BJP had said during the Assembly election that, if the party win the state, Nayab Singh Saini—who took over as Haryana’s chief minister in March when he replaced Manohar Lal Khattar —would be its pick for the position.
On October 8, the results of the Haryana election were declared. The BJP secured 48 seats, 11 more than the Congress, marking their greatest-ever victory.
Nayab Singh Saini, the chief minister of Haryana, gave farmers in the state assurances earlier in the day that his administration would purchase crops at MSP and deposit the money straight into their accounts. He added that the Haryana government prioritizes the welfare of young people.
