Baba Siddique’s death shook Bollywood

Mumbai: After learning of Baba Siddique’s untimely death late on Saturday night, Sanjay Dutt was seen hurriedly rushing to Lilavati Hospital. The actor, who was close to the senior politician looked extremely disturbed as he entered the hospital. Despite the constant questioning from the paparazzi, he stayed away from the media. Reporters questioned, “Sanju baba…. Koi jaankaari? Aapki mulaqaat hui?” but the actor chose not to respond and hurried to get inside his car.

Shortly after the news broke, Iqbal Ratansi, the father-in-law of Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha, was also seen going into the hospital. Baba Siddique was reported to be quite close to both Dutt and Ratansi.

Earlier in the day, a top NCP official named Baba Siddique was shot in Mumbai’s Bandra East area. The unfortunate event happened in Nirmal Nagar, next to his son Zeeshan Siddiqui’s (Bandra East MLA) office, near Colgate Ground. Hospital officials stated that Baba Siddique passed away from his wounds despite being sent to Lilavati Hospital for treatment. In relation to the attack, the police have detained two individuals, and investigations are still being conducted.

The incident shook Salman Khan, who had been friends with Baba Siddique for a long time.

In the film industry, Baba Siddique was well regarded and adored, and his annual Iftar parties were star-studded occasions that united the Bollywood community. The film industry is grieving the loss of a dear friend and supporter.
