Five exit polls reveal that while the Congress-National Conference partnership is leading in Jammu & Kashmir, no party has been able to surpass the majority threshold. After a ten-year break, assembly elections for Jammu and Kashmir’s ninety constituencies were held in three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1. Following these elections, the region is expected to have a new government.
Today was voting day in Haryana. In all 90 assembly constituencies, 1,031 candidates are running for office, and 20,632 polling places were set up for voting.

Vinesh Phogat’s reaction on Haryana exit poll predictions: After the seven exit polls indicated an easy home run for the Congress in the state known for its sports heroes, Vinesh Phogat stated that this is the exact change that the people of Haryana were hoping for.
Congress hopes for more than 55 seats in J&K: Congress general secretary Ghulam Ahmad Mir predicted that the Congress-National Conference alliance will win more than 55 seats in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, citing a number of exit polls that gave the coalition an advantage.
“Jammu and Kashmir’s voters chose to end the BJP’s ten years in power. Regardless of what the exit polls indicate, our opinion is that the vote was for change and to keep the BJP out of both Kashmir and Jammu.”

A Congress comeback in Haryana with 53-65 seats has been predicted by Axis My India exit poll. It indicated between 18-28 seats for the BJP.
Exit polls suggest that Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party, which was looking to establish itself in Haryana as the next natural step after controlling Delhi and Punjab, may not be able to make an impression in the state.
The exit poll of Gulistan News indicated the Congress-National Conference alliance might win between 31 to 36 seats and 28 to 30 for the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir.
The exit poll of Axis My India predicted between 35-45 seats for the Congress-National Conference alliance and 24-34 for the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir.
Congress congratulated the citizens of Haryana: The Haryana Congress wrote a celebratory post on X after exit poll numbers gave it an edge in the state. “Thank you, Haryana! with your blessing Change is coming, Congress is coming,” it posted.
Nayab Singh Saini hopes to form the government: The work we have completed over the past ten years is visible to Haryana. We have eliminated dynastic politics and regionalism from Haryana. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed confidence that the BJP will form the government in Haryana for a third time.
Statement from Vinesh Phogat: “The people of Haryana are having a really joyous day. They have suffered a lot over the past ten years. People have exacted revenge for the ten years of oppression,” stated Vinesh Phogat.
Former CM of J&K: “The Congress-National Conference only holds these seats according to exit polls; however, after the accurate results are released, the BJP will overtake all other parties as the largest party. We are confident of getting more than 35 seats in Jammu province and the remaining from Kashmir. BJP will be in a better condition in Kashmir,” said Former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and BJP leader Kavinder Gupta.
