MK Stalin’s son appointed as deputy chief minister of Tamil Nadu
At the moment, Udhayanidhi serves as the minister of sports in his father’s administration.
“Change will occur; there won’t be any disappointment,” the chief minister was quoted by PTI.
Tha Mo Anbarasan, the Tamil Nadu minister for micro, small, and medium-sized companies, had declared on September 19 that Udhayanidhi Stalin’s promotion to deputy chief minister is “soon to come.”
Anbarasan reportedly stated that the administration will undoubtedly name Udhayanidhi as the deputy chief minister within a week to ten days, according to PTI.
Udhayanidhi informed reporters upon being promoted, “Chief minister will take a decision.”
The proposals have been approved by the state governor, and the ministers-designate will be sworn in on Sunday at 3.30 p.m.
Money laundering accused Balaji returned back to the cabinet
In addition to Udhayanidhi’s promotion, Balaji was welcomed back into the council of ministers a few days after the Supreme Court granted him bail in a case involving money laundering, which had been pending for more than 15 months.
“The case that was brought against me was fabricated and only a political retaliation. By going to court, I will prevail and legitimately win this fictitious lawsuit. I owe the DMK Youth Wing Secretary Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, TN Chief Minister MK Stalin, and DMK President,” Balaji stated.
