JP Nadda, the national president of the BJP, unveiled the party’s platform for the approaching Haryana Assembly elections. Providing scooties to female college students, providing free dialysis in government hospitals, offering free diagnosis in both government and private hospitals, and guaranteeing free medical treatment up to Rs 10 lakh, with an additional Rs 5 lakh for those aged 70 and above are just a few of the promises made to women.
Nadda declared in the Rohtak BJP manifesto that 2 lakh young people would be awarded government jobs based only on merit. In contrast, 5 lakh young people will receive a monthly stipend in addition to support to develop their skills.
Nadda declared that 50,000 local youth would be employed in ten model industrial townships to be built by the ruling BJP. According to him, 5 lakh houses will be built for BPL families in both rural and urban areas, and the minimum support price (MSP) for 24 crops in Haryana will continue to be provided.
Additionally, he said that the Haryana government will guarantee Agniveers in Haryana employment, and the women of BPL families will continue to receive LPG cylinders for Rs 500.
Nadda pledged to expand train and road connections between Delhi and Chandigarh, encompassing several Haryana districts. He added that the government would finance the establishment of individual welfare boards in each of the 36 communities, emphasising the need for these boards to serve the lower classes in particular.
Nadda stated that full scholarships will be awarded to students pursuing degrees in engineering or medicine who come from OBC, SC, or ST backgrounds. An interest-free loan of Rs 25 lakh is available to entrepreneurs belonging to the Backward Class. He also declared that 10,000 acres of the Aravali will be turned into an international safari.
The Union Health Minister, Jody Nadda, also reported that there are now fifteen medical colleges instead of just seven and that there are 2,185 medical college seats instead of just 700.
There are currently 5,800 villages with 24-hour electricity, compared to 538 in 2014. Crop compensation was allocated Rs 1,158 crore under the Congress government, but the BJP has provided Rs 12,212 crore—more than ten times as much. The old age pension now stands at Rs 3,000 instead of Rs 1,000.
Furthermore, the BJP administration in Haryana has announced that MSP will be paid for the procurement of 24 crops, as opposed to the Congress administration’s allocation of MSP for 8 crops.
“All of our goals from 2014 and 2019 have been fully executed. We will be keeping this report card in front of all of you. This is transforming the state of Haryana.” Nadda added.
