Mumbai: Ananya Panday’s performance in Call Me Bae is receiving appreciation. She was one among the Bollywood celebrities who hosted the July wedding celebrations for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. In an interview with Mashable India for the most recent episode of The Bombay Journey, the actor discussed the lavish Ambani wedding and addressed the possibility that Bollywood celebrities were paid to attend the festivities.

“Nahi (no)! I don’t know why logon ko aisa lagta hain. They are my friends. So obviously main doston ke shaadi me aisa hi nachungi na (I will dance like that only for my friend’s wedding right)?” exclaimed Ananya.

When asked about if she had any takeaways from the wedding, Ananya responded, “One big takeaway from the wedding was that so much was happening, but whenever Anant and Radhika would look at each other, it was just pure love, violins seemed to be playing behind them. I want that in life, that you and that person will always have that connection, no matter how chaotic things get around you. Secondly, baraats should be enjoyed by the girls too! The third thing to remember is that they welcomed everyone. Regardless of the number of events, they greeted each person with such warmth and love. It’s a really wonderful characteristic because it gives everything a very intimate sense.”
