On Sunday, former president Donald Trump made it clear that he doesn’t like pop artist Taylor Swift. Trump delivered a message on his social media page Truth Social that read, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”

Donald Trump posted, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”

Swift made her endorsement for Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump’s rival in the 2024 presidential contest, known in public.

Swift announced her support on Instagram, writing, “In the 2024 presidential election, I will be voting for Tim Walz and Kamala Harris. Because Kamala Harris defends the rights and causes, I support. Calm leadership is what we need, not chaos.”

Swift announced her support for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, in an Instagram post on Tuesday. She emphasized her opinion that calm leadership will result in more accomplishments for the nation than chaos, characterizing Harris as a “steady-handed, gifted leader.”

Swift expressed her concerns about misinformation after seeing AI-generated graphics falsely attributing support to Trump. She urged her followers to “do their research” and shared a voter registration link on her Instagram “stories.”

Trump reacted to Swift’s endorsement

Trump addressed Swift’s endorsement decision in a September 11 interview with Fox & Friends. He declared, “I was never a fan of Taylor Swift. It was only a matter of time… she is very liberal and consistently supports Democrats.”

He said that she would “pay a price for it in the marketplace” as a result of her choice to back Harris, potentially harming her career.
