Karn Dev Kamboj, the leader of the BJP, has expressed disapproval at Chief Minister Nayab Saini’s lack of influence in the distribution of election tickets in Haryana. After being refused a ticket for the October 5 Assembly elections, Kamboj abruptly resigned as the head of the OBC Morcha, claiming that numerous worthy leaders were overlooked in favor of newcomers.

BJP leaders from Haryana expressed disappointment over ticket distribution for upcoming Haryana assembly elections, also claimed that CM Nayab Saini has little control over candidates’ selection.

Kamboj claimed that the current turmoil, which includes resignations and disagreement among several party members, may have been intensified by Saini’s minimal involvement in candidate selection.

“The party’s graph increased after the BJP appointed Nayab Saini as chief minister. However, the CM has little control over ticket distribution when selecting candidates. The rebellion, which we are seeing on many seats, could have been prevented,” Kamboj asserted to PTI.

Following the resignation of Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala and MLA Lakshman Dass Napa due to the BJP’s first candidate list, Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh indicated that there is strong public support for his candidacy for chief minister, despite the fact that Manohar Lal Khattar has made it clear that the party will contest the elections under Saini’s leadership.

With 67 names, the initial list was made public.

On Tuesday, the BJP released the second list of candidates that featured various modifications and excluded some current MLAs, such as two ministers and state party president Mohan Lal Badoli. The internal conflict has been worsened by this move, with some party members openly expressing their frustrations.

On October 5, there will be a single phase of the Haryana Assembly elections, with vote counting scheduled for October 8.
