On Monday, September 9, 2024, Apple held its Apple Glowtime Event 2024 at its Cupertino Park, California, headquarters to unveil the new iPhone 16.

In order to power Apple’s numerous of new artificial intelligence (AI) features, collectively referred to as “Apple Intelligence,” the Apple iPhone 16 series is equipped with the new A18 Bionic chip, which is based on the Arm V9 chip architecture.
It has a 48 MP “Fusion” camera with the fastest frame rate of any iPhone to date, 120 frames per second, for 4K video recording. This allows for incredible slow-motion shots.
Along with free three months of Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and Apple Fitness+, every iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus purchase will also include these benefits.
Colors to expect
There are five color options for the iPhone 16: black, blue, teal, ultramarine, and pink. Additionally available in black, denim, fuchsia, lake green, plum, star fruit, stone gray, and ultramarine are the Clear Case and the Silicone Case with MagSafe.
Prices to expect
The starting price for the iPhone 16 is $799, while the iPhone 16 Plus is $899. Apple announced that all of the new iPhones will be on sale starting on September 20.
On Friday, September 13, at 5 a.m. PDT or 5:30 p.m. IST, all customers in over 58 countries and regions—including India, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Türkiye, the UAE, the UK, and the US—will be able to pre-order the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
Launches other than iPhone 16 series
In addition to the new iPhone 16 series, Apple also unveiled the new AirPods 4 and the most recent Apple Watch Series 10, with the noteworthy announcement that the AirPods Pro 2 can now be used as a certified hearing aid.
