Chandigarh, August 22: With a steadfast commitment to streamlining Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) operations and ensuring efficient service delivery, Punjab Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO convened a meeting with the officers from the Technical Audit and Inspection Wing of the PSPCL here on Thursday.
The meeting aimed to review the wing’s reports and assess its performance. Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO meticulously reviewed data on inspections conducted by the department, seeking a comprehensive understanding of their activities.
The Minister emphasized the importance of stringent quality control, instructing concerned officers to exercise utmost vigilance during inspections of transformers and other materials before accepting delivery from private vendors, leaving no room for complacency or compromise on quality standards.
In addition to reviewing reports, the Minister engaged in an open and informative dialogue with the officers to comprehend the challenges they encounter in the field. He said that this exchange would further enable him to gain insight into the operational intricacies and identify areas for improvement.
Throughout the meeting, Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO stressed the significance of prioritizing PSPCL’s interests. He also directed all the officers to work in the best interests of the corporation, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in achieving excellence.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Engineer, Technical Audit and Inspection Wing, Er. Inderjit Singh, Deputy Chief Engineer, Er. Arun Gupta, and Additional Superintending Engineers and Senior Executive Engineers of the Wing.
