West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee accused the opposition CPI(M) and the BJP of coordinating vandalism at RG Kar Hospital and twisting the truth about the lady doctor’s rape and murder.

“We want the truth to be revealed, yet certain sources are propagating lies to mislead people. Attempts are being made to conceal the truth by spreading false information on social media. We object to these actions. “We want the culprits to be punished,” she stated.

In a sharp reaction to her, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia referred to the leaders of the Opposition alliance INDIA as “political vultures” who speak out on atrocities against women based on their political convenience. Mr. Bhatia referred to Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Manish Sisodia, Uddhav Thackeray, and other INDIA bloc leaders as “political vultures” and urged them to rise above vote bank politics and “break their silence” on such horrible atrocities.

“Now the case has reached the CBI. “All the guilty will soon face the harshest punishment; no accused will be spared, no matter how powerful a leader is protecting them,” the BJP spokesperson stated.
