Amit Shah already knows the 2029 General Elections Results

4 August: Amit Shah, the union home minister, stated on Sunday that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by the Bharatiya Janata Party, will win a majority once more in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking at a gathering to launch the Nyay Setu water supply project, Shah promised that “Let the opposition do whatever it wants to do; in 2029, Modi ji and the NDA will arrive.” The opposition is unaware that the BJP has gained more seats in this election than the Congress did in past three elections.”

“Those who wish to spread instability has stated time and time again that this government will not hold.” I’ve come to reassure them that not only will the current government serve out its tenure, but the next one will be led by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and be prepared to sit in the opposition and learn how to operate there, according to Shah, who was quoted by ANI.

The BJP won 240 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, which is fewer than its 2019 total of 303 seats. But with help from the Telugu Desam Party and Janata Dal (United), the saffron party-led NDA was able to form the government at the center.

After Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Narendra Modi has held the position for three consecutive terms.

However, the opposition INDIA coalition gave a tough competition to NDA by, securing over 230 seats. With 99 seats won, the Congress surpassed its 2019 total of 52. The historic party had not performed better in fifteen years since capturing 206 seats in the 2009 general election.
