Karnataka has decided to build 100 homes for Wayanad Landslide Victims

On Saturday, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah declared that his administration would build 100 homes for the Wayanad landslide victims.

Siddaramaiah posted on social media stating that Karnataka is in solidarity with Kerala in light of the tragic landslide that occurred in Wayanad.

“I have said that Karnataka will build 100 houses for the victims, and I have guaranteed Chief Minister Shri @pinarayivijayan of our help. We shall rebuild and rekindle hope together,” he declared.

Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader and former Wayanad MP, shared Siddaramaiah’s post on ‘X’ and expressed his profound gratitude to the Karnataka government and people for their kind support during these trying times in Wayanad.

“Your promise to construct 100 homes for the landslide victims is a big step in the right direction for rehabilitation efforts. The qualities Wayanad needs right now are the compassion and unity of Indians, he continued.

For Karnataka’s donation, Vadra also congratulated Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Rescue workers are battling difficult circumstances, such as soggy soil, as they comb through demolished homes and buildings in an estimated 300 cases of missing persons.
