“My Son Junaid hasn’t taken any help from me for his debut”: Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan has finally talked about his son Junaid’s first movie, Maharaj, after the young actor’s performance in the film stunned both fans and reviewers. News 18 cited Aamir as stating, “When Junaid’s film Maharaj was released, I was very stressed whether people would like his work or not.” Junaid has put a lot of effort into his own work, and he has never once received any assistance from me. I can see that he achieved his goals on his own terms and in his own way, which makes me very proud and happy.

Junaid claimed that his father has “the best solution for everything” when it comes to movies in a previous conversation with Siddharth Kannan. “Even in his attitude, there is much to be learned. He is affected by failures, but he takes the time to analyze and move on to the next lesson. That’s his process, and it’s probably the best one, he added. He will determine what went wrong and take it from there.

Last night, Aamir Khan threw a special party to honor his son Junaid’s accomplishments in his debut Bollywood movie. This year, Junaid debuted in Bollywood with the Netflix film Maharaj. Siddharth P. Malhotra, the film’s director, posted behind-the-scenes photos from the celebration on his Instagram stories. He wrote, “Maharaj success party,” as the post’s caption. He wrote, “Good times,” as the post’s caption and included heart emojis. The director of the movie shared a photo of himself with Aamir Khan on his Instagram story, writing, “Always a fan for life… loved him back then. Forever and ever, love him even more.”

Maharaj, which is helmed by Siddharth Malhotra, also stars Shalini Pandey and Sharvari. With support from Yash Raj Films, it released on Netflix on June 14. Maharaj is based on actual events, tells the tale of a journalist who chooses to seek brave and truthful stories that challenge society and is recognized as a hero.
