26 July, Chandigarh: “Nothing Much for Haryana in the Union Budget of 2024-25 presented by FM Nirmala Sitharaman” – Dushyant Chautala.
Former Deputy Chief minister of Haryana and president of Jannayak Janata Party, Dushyant Chautala held a press conference in Chandigarh, expressing his disappointment over the union budget (2024 – 2025). According to Dushyant, the budget holds nothing special for Haryana.
During the Press Conference he mentioned that all the projects which were approved for Haryana’s infrastructure development didn’t get a space in the Union Budget.
Chautala emphasized on the fact that the estimated budget for Hisar – Rewari highway construction was 3500 crore which was not included in the Union budget, but the central government allocated 36000 crores for Bihar’s infrastructural development. He further pointed out that a total of 11 bridges collapsed in Bihar in the time period of 10 days.
He also took the matter of “farmers welfare” highlighting the decrease in the amount allocated for “Krishi Samaan Nidhi“.
In his overall press conference Dushyant consciously alleged the Central Government to favor states like Bihar and Andhra Pradesh to maintain a healthy relationship with NDA allies.
