The ambiance inside the Lok Sabha got tense as Ravneet Singh Bittu (BJP) and Charanjit Singh Channi (Congress) posed serious allegations against each other.
The verbal spat between these too got so serious that the Lok Sabha session was put at halt till 2 p.m.
It all began when MP from Jalandhar constituency, Charanjit Singh Channi blamed Ravneet Singh Bittu for Betraying Congress. Channi said pointing towards Bittu “what if I say that your father didn’t die the day he got martyred, but he actually died the day when you left Congress”.
Bittu replied to this statement saying that his father has given up his life for the sake of the country not for the sake of Congress. He further alleged Channi of being one of the most corrupt MPs. He openly challenged Channi to reveal about his property and possessions. Mr. Bittu didn’t stop here, he alleged Channi of being involved in matters like “Me Too”.
Channi then questioned the absence of Prominent BJP members while discussing the Budget.
