Gurdaspur Police in an effective measure met with the local public and youth to make them aware about the disastrous effects of drugs on the human body and overall effects on other aspects of life. 

The police authority of Gurdaspur motivated the public to report cases of drug trafficking and made them aware about the existence of Anti – drug helpline. 

While Punjab’s youth inclination towards drug trafficking and consumption of drugs is alarming, such ground level initiatives taken by authorities can prove to be an efficient solution in such circumstances.
