MDU Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh today presented the admission prospectus for four-year undergraduate courses (UG Hons/UG Honors with Research) and five-year integrated courses at University Teaching Departments and MDU-CPAS, Gurugram for the session 2024-2025 in the conference room of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office. Released. He said that 12th class passed students can apply online till June 8 for admission in 17 courses started by MDU at undergraduate level. Except Bachelor in Public Health course, admission in all other courses will be on the basis of entrance examination. The entrance examination will be held on 20, 21, 24 and 25 June. The entrance exam result will be released on June 29.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh said that while implementing the National Education Policy-2020, candidates for admission in 17 courses at the undergraduate level in the session 2024-2025 can apply online till June 8. He said that out of 17 courses, two courses are five-year integrated and 15 courses are four-year UG Hons/UG Honors with Research. This time MDU has started 12 new courses at the undergraduate level, the Vice Chancellor said.

The Vice Chancellor said that a four-year special course of Bachelor of Public Health has been started under the University Institute of Public Health Sciences. MDU has taken the initiative to start this unique course among the universities of the country. There are 60 seats in this course and admission will be based on NEET score.

Apart from this, the four-year courses in UTD include 160 seats in BCA, 60 seats in BA-English, 30 seats in Bachelor of Fine Arts-Painting, 60 seats in BA-Sanskrit, 60 seats in B.Com, Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering. 60 seats in Technology, 60 seats in Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management, 120 seats in BBA, 60 seats in B.Sc-Mathematics, 60 seats in B.Sc-Statistics, 60 seats in BA-History, 60 seats in BA-Economics, BA- 60 seats are available in Public Administration, 30 seats are available in B.Sc-Genetics. Among five-year courses, 120 seats are available in LLB Honors five-year course and 60 seats are available in Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. MDU-CPAS, Gurugram has 60 seats available in four-year BBA course and 240 seats in LLB Honors five-year integrated course.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh said that this time 25 percent supernumerary seats have been kept for foreign students. Foreign students can apply online for admission through Study India Portal till June 21. A separate admission brochure will be issued for admission of foreign students. Vice Chancellor said that apart from this, supernumerary seats are available for sportspersons, NRIs, single girl child, MDU employees wards, Central/State Government sponsored personal, Kashmiri students, relatives of Kargil martyrs, students of University Campus School, NCC, Bharat Scouts and Guides, NSS. , Seats have been earmarked for orphan children.
